Privacy & Cookie Policy

What changed on October 19, 2026: a new section, Measuring our ads, on what our inquiry form keeps about the ad or link that brought you to us.

What changed on October 18, 2026: who we share information with, a new section on text messages and mobile numbers, and how long we keep records of consent.

We collect only what we need to plan your event, and we never sell your personal information.

Who is responsible

Sapphire Sky Events LLC, a Georgia limited liability company, runs this website and our services. Contact: info@sapphireskyevents.com.

What we collect

• Information you give us: name, email, phone, event date, venue, guest count, budget, design preferences, and messages.
• Booking details: signed agreements, invoices and payment status. Card and bank details are handled by our payment processor. We do not store them.
• Website data: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location and how you reached us, collected through cookies (below). Our inquiry form also sends the page and the site you came from.
• Ad and link details, only if you accept advertising cookies: the campaign details and the Google ad click ID of the link that brought you to us, kept with your inquiry (see Measuring our ads).
• Event photos and videos, as described in our Photo & Video Policy.

How we use it

To answer your inquiry, prepare proposals, plan and deliver your event, take payments, keep business and tax records, improve the website, and, if you agree, send occasional news. We do not use automated decisions that affect you in a significant way.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that run our business: client management and payments (HoneyBook), website hosting, email, text messaging, spam protection for our forms, analytics and advertising (Google, Meta). They may use it only to serve us. Mobile numbers are never given to advertising providers.
• Your venue, planner or other vendors for your event, when needed to deliver it.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.
• We do not sell your information and do not share it for others' own marketing.

Text messages and mobile numbers

If you agree to receive texts, our SMS Policy also applies. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the providers that send our texts and when the law requires it. We do not upload mobile numbers to advertising platforms. To stop texts, reply STOP or contact us. We honor requests within 10 business days.

When you send an inquiry, we keep a record of the consent you gave, such as the date and time, how you agreed and the consent text shown. Where our form records it, we also keep the page and technical data such as IP address and browser.

Cookies

• Essential cookies make the site and forms work, remember your branch and remember your cookie choice on every sapphireskyevents.com address, including our form pages. They cannot be turned off.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) count visits and show which pages help. You can turn them off.
• Advertising cookies (Google Ads, Meta) measure our ads and show them to people who visited. You can turn them off.

Analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you accept them in the cookie banner. Before you choose, or if you decline, Google tools on our site store no cookies and read no identifiers. They send only basic signals, such as that a page was visited or an inquiry was sent, which Google uses in aggregate to estimate site visits and ad results. You can change your choice at any time through the Cookie Settings link in the footer. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of advertising cookies. Our site does not respond to other "Do Not Track" signals.

Measuring our ads

If you accept advertising cookies and your browser does not send a Global Privacy Control signal, our inquiry form keeps the campaign details and the Google ad click ID of the link that brought you to us with your inquiry. This can be an ad that brought you to our site in the last 90 days. Later we may send Google Ads that click ID and whether the inquiry became a qualified inquiry or a booking, so we can see which ads work. We never send your name, email, phone number or messages to Google or Meta for this, and we do not upload customer lists. If you decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the form keeps none of these details. You can change your choice at any time through the Cookie Settings link in the footer.

How long we keep it

Inquiries that do not book: up to 2 years. Booked clients: for the length of the agreement plus 7 years, for tax and legal records. Then we delete or anonymize it.

Records of consent and opt-outs for calls and texts are kept for at least 5 years after the latest of these: the day the person agreed, our last call or text to that number, or the opt-out. We keep them even if the inquiry itself is deleted sooner, so we can show we had permission.

Your choices

• Ask to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop marketing emails, by writing to info@sapphireskyevents.com. We reply within 30 days. Some records must be kept by law.
• Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Residents of states with consumer privacy laws may also opt out of targeted advertising and appeal our answer to a request by replying to it.
• We protect information with access controls and trusted providers. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we will notify you as the law requires.

Children

Our services and website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We post any update on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes are also noted at the top of the changed policy for 30 days. Text messages are covered by our SMS Policy.
